St John falling asleep at the last supper. This is from a wonderful Cenacolo, in the convent of Sant’Appolonia, by Andrea del Castagno. All apostles having plates on their heads, the fabrics and different kinds of marble so faboulous in detail, and the faces expressing personalities and character.
